Over the last five years (2019-2024), the Mozambique Local TB Response (LTBR) project, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) with a budget of 25 million dollars, has made significant progress in improving TB detection, diagnosis and treatment in 50 districts in the provinces of Nampula, Zambézia, Sofala and Tete, for a target population of 13.

To alleviate the impact of Covid-19 on family income and reduce malnutrition of school-age children, the School Feeding Project “Food for Knowledge” started the process of distributing about 20 tons of agricultural products from the gardens supported by the project, in four districts of Maputo Province.

The Resilient Livelihood Recovery Project, a program UNDP and the Mozambican government and implemented, amongst others, by ADPP in coordination with the Office of Post-cyclone Reconstruction (GREPOC), carried out this week, under the Recovery Mechanism (MRF), the delivery of self-employment starter kits to thirty women’s groups composed of ten people each.
